Academic Requirements
For the Bachelor’s Program
You must have completed your higher secondary/intermediate/senior secondary school according to Indian school education system, which is often called 12th grade exam with required percentage. The score in your 12th exam should be more than 60 per cent in most of the cases. Some institutes ask for higher marks for bachelor’s programs.
For the Master’s Program
You must have completed your bachelor’s program with a first-class or higher to study a master’s program in the UAE.
To study in UAE, for example, a bachelor’s program, you must have studied the same subject in the senior secondary; for a master’s program, you must have studied the same subject with Honours or major in the bachelor’s program. This is a basic eligibility to study in UAE for international students.
English Language Proficiency
Most top universities in the United Arab Emirates teach in English medium. Thus, a proficiency in English is mandatory. You must have valid IELTS 5.5 to 6.0 or TOEFL 79 or higher scores to study in UAE.
Student Visa
You must have an offer letter from a UAE institute to apply for a student visa to study here.
The UAE visa is sponsored by the institute and remains valid for the duration of your program. Suppose you are applying for a bachelor’s program, then the student visa duration will be three to four years.
